Description

This women's tee is made from 6.1 oz 100% ring-spun US cotton in a boxy, slightly cropped mid-length cut. It features a topstitched ribbed collar, shoulder-to-shoulder twill tape, a seamless body, and a double-needle bottom hem. Dyed with OEKO-TEX certified low-impact dyes in a WRAP-certified facility, using a salt-free clean pigment process that uses about half the water of conventional pigment dyeing. Boxy fit, sizes S–2XL — it runs close to the body, so size up for a looser drape. Slight shade variation between garments is normal.

Meet treasureflower

Gazania linearis (Thunb.) Druce

Treasureflower raises a large daisy-like head above a low rosette of leaves. The apparent bloom is a gathering of many flowers: spreading ray florets frame a centre packed with smaller disc florets. In Gazania linearis, the rays are usually golden yellow and often dark at their bases, while the centre ranges from yellow to reddish-orange. Kew Species Profile: Gazania linearis

Native range

The native range lies in South Africa, from the Cape provinces into KwaZulu-Natal. Kew’s species account places it on grassy slopes and rocky cliffs in the summer-rainfall region, reaching elevations of about 3,050 metres.
