Description

This women's tee is made from 6.1 oz 100% ring-spun US cotton in a boxy, slightly cropped mid-length cut. It features a topstitched ribbed collar, shoulder-to-shoulder twill tape, a seamless body, and a double-needle bottom hem. Dyed with OEKO-TEX certified low-impact dyes in a WRAP-certified facility, using a salt-free clean pigment process that uses about half the water of conventional pigment dyeing. Boxy fit, sizes S–2XL — it runs close to the body, so size up for a looser drape. Slight shade variation between garments is normal.

Meet avocado

Persea americana Mill.

Avocado has been cultivated in tropical America since before European contact. Its familiar fruit is botanically a berry surrounding one large seed. The fruit generally remains firm on the tree and ripens after it falls or is picked, separating growth on the branch from the final softening of the flesh. Native range

The native range extends from central Mexico through Central America to Costa Rica. Its worldwide cultivated distribution includes tropical and subtropical regions far beyond that original range. Kew: Persea americanaUniversity of Florida IFAS: Avocado growing in Florida

Ecological relationships

Under Florida conditions, bees and wasps help cross-pollinate flowers when compatible flowering phases overlap. University of Florida IFAS: Avocado growing in Florida
