Description

This women's tee is made from 6.1 oz 100% ring-spun US cotton in a boxy, slightly cropped mid-length cut. It features a topstitched ribbed collar, shoulder-to-shoulder twill tape, a seamless body, and a double-needle bottom hem. Dyed with OEKO-TEX certified low-impact dyes in a WRAP-certified facility, using a salt-free clean pigment process that uses about half the water of conventional pigment dyeing. Boxy fit, sizes S–2XL — it runs close to the body, so size up for a looser drape. Slight shade variation between garments is normal.

Meet sassafras

Sassafras albidum (Nutt.) Nees

A single sassafras branch can carry three different leaf outlines: an unlobed oval, a mitten shape and a three-lobed blade. These contrasting outlines remain recognizable until the leaves turn yellow, orange or scarlet in autumn. Root suckers frequently build small groves around an established tree. Oregon State University: Sassafras albidum

Sassafras is native to eastern North America, from the northeastern United States and southern Canada south toward Florida and eastern Texas. It occurs in woodlands, abandoned fields and along roadsides and fences, generally on well-drained ground. NC State Extension: Sassafras albidumVascular Plants of North Carolina: Sassafras albidum
